East Finchley Festival

Seeking: Activities co-ordinators, parade co-ordinator and general stewards
Description: We are seeking an activities co-ordinator to liaise with and schedule external providers, primarily in the childrens’ area and with sporting activities. We also need a parade co-ordinators to contact and organise schools and clubs taking part in the parade.
Based: Home. On-site over festival weekend.
Experience necessary: Basic IT skills preferred
Commitment: A few hours per week. Will need to be available all weekend on 22/23 June 2024.

Seeking: Finance Manager
Description: MS Haringey is a local group of the national MS Society. They are looking to recruit a volunteer to manage all aspects of their financial activity, under Charity Commission rules. Initial training will be given.
Based: From home
Experience/skills necessary: Would suit a retired person with an accountancy background. Interest in the welfare of people living with multiple sclerosis would be a strong recommendation

Description: U3A’s Singing for Pleasure group has between 25 and 30 singers at each session. They seek a pianist to play a fortnightly programme of 10-12 songs (mostly popular songs from the 1920s to 1980s and also folksongs)

Experience/skills necessary: Experienced pianist (music scores provided).
Commitment: Mondays 5-6pm, fortnightly
