East Finchley Neighbourhood Support

East Finchley Neighbourhood Support was created in March 2020 by members of the East Finchley Community facebook group, initially as an informal grassroots community group to offer support and assistance to neighbours during the first Covid 19 pandemic lockdown.

EFNS ran a shopping partners service, a telephone helpline, befriending service for isolated people and coordinated volunteers for other voluntary organisations throughout the covid lockdowns.

In October 2020 the group partnered with chef Giuseppe Sollo to create The N2 Food Project in order to provide meals for those left without government support. Such was the demand for and success of the project, that in March 2021 East Finchley Neighbourhood Support became a registered Community Interest Company, established to support the residents of London N2.

East Finchley Neighbourhood Support Community Fund

The EFNS Community Fund offers grants of up to £1,500 for local initiatives which benefit the residents of London N2. Applications for the 2024 Community Fund close on 6 December 2024.
