East Finchley Neighbourhood Support has teamed up with chef Giuseppe Sollo to host The N2 Food Project.
The team aims to ensure that anyone in the London N2 area, who is in need or isolated can access a weekly, tasty nutritious, hot meal.
Chef Giuseppe and nutritionist Vincenzo Napoletano use locally sourced quality ingredients, and every week a team of volunteers prepare and pack 200 meals to in order to bring fine dining to everyone, whatever their circumstances.
Meals can be collected from the front of The Phoenix Cinema, 52 High Road, N2 9PJ between 10.30am -12.30pm every Tuesday. The food is absolutely free to anyone who needs it; no referral needed, no questions asked. In order to cater for everyone in our community, most of our dishes are either vegetarian or vegan, with gluten-free options when possible.
Pay it forward
You can also buy a delicious meal for £5 or £10, which in turn will pay for meals for other people.
Our meals are also supplied to Barnet Homes and Finchley Charities sheltered housing complexes in N2, The Cranwood Homeless Centre and Homeless Action Barnet.
