As part of East Finchley Neighbourhood Support’s ongoing commitment to support the residents of London N2, we are looking to fund or assist with small projects, initiatives, groups and startups which benefit the general East Finchley community.

- One-off events
- Purchase of equipment
- Free workshops
Local organisations may apply for grants of up to £1,500 to fund accessible and inclusive projects that would bring the whole community together, whilst individual residents may apply for up to £500 to fund grassroots, community projects that would make a positive difference to the residents of London N2.

Conditions
East Finchley Neighbourhood Support offers a grant of up to £1,500 for local initiatives of benefit to the local community. Applications are accepted from any voluntary, community groups or social enterprises, which includes, but is not restricted to:
- Unincorporated associations
- Community Interest Companies (CIC)
- Registered charities
- Social Enterprises
We are also happy to receive applications from small businesses, provided that services are being provided on a voluntary basis. Grant funding will not cover staff remuneration for any organisation, charity or otherwise.
Applicants must:
- be able to demonstrate that the project benefits residents of the East Finchley, London N2 area;
- have clearly defined aims and objectives that link explicitly to their funding application;
- have a UK bank account that funds can be deposited in
Completed applications must be received by 6 December 2024.
The assessment panel will meet shortly after this date to determine the shortlist. Once the successful applications have been decided upon, all applicants will be notified and funds distributed.
Funding requests should be for startups, short-term activities and one-off projects which will take place before 31st December 2025, or can be for the purchase of equipment to support a long-term project. Projects must benefit the wider community of London N2 not be limited to an individual or a small number of individuals, special interest or faith-based groups.
If funded, the organisation will be required to demonstrate evidence of expenditure of the funds. If the expenditure on the project is lower than expected, the organisation will be required to return the balance of the funds to EFNS.
Applicants must demonstrate that their project and activities are covered by appropriate insurance, comply with health and safety regulations and fulfil equality and diversity requirements.
Funded organisations are required to give regular updates throughout the project and to complete an evaluation at the completion of the project. EFNS may use information on the project in publicity material for promotional purposes.
If a funded project does not go ahead or is substantially delayed or altered, or the funds are not spent in a timely or prudent way, or are not spent in accordance with what was described on the application form, the organisation will be required to return the funds in full to EFNS.
