During the month of June, East Finchley Town Team will be amongst the organisations celebrating the London Festival of Architecture with a series of events. The Town Team has commissioned maker Fruzsi Karig to build a “stagesettee” or “seatre” – a bench which can be transformed into a performance stage – as part of the creation of a town square. Local buskers will be encouraged to perform on the weekends of 8/9/ June and 15/16 June. There will be performance from Fixation Academy on 22 June, and on 23 June the seating will be reconfigured in order to watch the East Finchley Festival parade.
